A center can have a detailed profile without being independently verified. Our labels explain what type of evidence supports the page and what readers still need to confirm directly.
Our research process
- Confirm identity: We establish the center name, city, branch and website or public-source identity.
- Collect available details: We review location, contact information, levels of care, published services, clinical-team information, hours, admission details and official media.
- Prioritise stronger sources: Government, regulatory, hospital, university and official facility sources are preferred over general directories or social posts.
- Check conflicts: Conflicting addresses, branch status, service claims or registration statements are retained and explained rather than silently resolved without evidence.
- Remove unsupported promotion: Words such as best, leading, trusted, guaranteed, highest success rate or fully licensed are removed unless the underlying claim can be supported and accurately qualified.
- Assign a source label: The profile displays the status of the information rather than implying that every detail has been independently confirmed.
- Publish a review date and correction route: Readers and authorised representatives can submit updated evidence.
What the labels mean
Online-sourced / unverified
Information was collected from identified online sources but has not been directly confirmed by FindRehabCenter.org with the facility or an authoritative record for every claim.
Owner-submitted
An authorised representative supplied information or requested changes. The submission may be reviewed for consistency and evidence, but it is still provider-reported unless independently corroborated.
Verified by FindRehabCenter
Core identity and selected material details were checked using direct confirmation or supporting documents. The label applies only to the stated scope and date; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of clinical quality.
Status requires confirmation
Available sources conflict or indicate that a branch may have moved, closed, changed services or requires direct confirmation before visiting or paying.
What verification does not mean
- It does not guarantee patient safety, treatment outcomes or suitability.
- It does not confirm real-time availability, pricing, staffing or bed occupancy.
- It does not replace checking the current licence or registration with the relevant authority.

Clinical-team and licensing claims
When a center names clinicians, we may publish the names and roles shown by an official source. Readers should still ask for current professional registration, availability and responsibility for care. When a regulatory or registration document is available, we describe what the document actually establishes and avoid treating registration alone as proof of quality or full compliance.
Images and media
We prefer owner-supplied media, official media kits, reusable licensed images or official-source images used for directory identification with a visible rights notice. We do not use patient images or media that appears to disclose confidential health information. Rights holders can request correction, attribution, replacement or removal.
Owner claims and updates
Every center profile contains a claim or update form. Representatives should provide an official email, role, website and evidence link. Submissions are reviewed before publication and may be rejected, narrowed or labelled as provider-reported.
Reader checks before admission
Even a detailed profile should be treated as a starting point. Confirm the current address, regulatory status, clinical team, medical supervision, emergency procedures, patient rights, complete fees, family contact, discharge plan and aftercare directly with the facility.
