Editorial independence
FindRehabCenter.org maintains a separation between editorial work and commercial activity. Inclusion, removal, cautionary wording, source labels and factual corrections are based on available evidence rather than payment.
Verification is not for sale
A facility cannot purchase the label Verified by FindRehabCenter. Verification requires the evidence and review described in How We Research and Verify. Payment, advertising or sponsorship does not convert owner-reported information into independently verified information.
Advertising and sponsored placement
- Advertisements must be visibly labelled as advertising or sponsored content.
- Sponsored placement must not be presented as a clinical ranking, recommendation or proof of quality.
- Advertisers do not receive control over independent editorial text, source labels or corrections.
- Claims within advertising remain the advertiser’s responsibility and may be rejected when they appear unsafe, misleading or unsupported.
Provider-submitted content
Facilities may provide factual updates, media and evidence without paying for a correction or claim review. Provider statements are labelled and may be edited for clarity, safety, relevance and consistency with the site’s standards.
Affiliate links
If affiliate links are introduced, pages containing them will disclose the relationship. An affiliate relationship must not determine which treatment is described as appropriate or which facility receives a verification label.
Conflicts of interest
Writers and reviewers should disclose a material financial, employment, ownership or close professional relationship with a facility discussed on the page. When a conflict cannot be managed transparently, another reviewer should assess the content or the relationship should be disclosed prominently.
Corrections and complaints
Commercial partners and non-commercial listings follow the same factual-correction process. Concerns can be submitted through the contact page.
